Writer's Block: Time in a bottle

If you could eliminate all the calendars, clocks, and measurements of time, how would it change your life? How about the world?

It's an incredibly tempting thought... I'd never feel rushed, and things would seem unbelievably more simple. Although then it'd also be harder to gauge some things, and holidays and birthdays would probably be nonexistent...and school would be a never-ending-bitch, rofl. But I keep seeing a totally peaceful, nothing-ness, world...

Writer's Block: Boldly going

Which fictional world would you choose to visit, and why?

I really don't think it warrants any explanation.

I'm just having a bit of trouble finding my Faramir here.

Writer's Block: I'm just a bill, yeah I'm only a bill

If you could change or create a new law, what would it be, and why?

This is one I don't even have to think about - I'd legalize gay marriage. I'm straight, but the thought of keeping others from marrying someone they love just because of gender...it's ridiculous. I live in Wyoming, and because of the inability for gays to marry, I think being called the "Equality State" is total bullshit. So that's one I would change in a heartbeat.

Writer's Block: What's my motivation?

If you could replace any actor/actress in a film with someone else, who would you replace, and why?

There are too many to think of just ONE, I think. I watch entirely too many films lol. But I can't ever stand Cameron Diaz, so she should be replaced by someone with talent in every film she's been in. Same for Megan Fox, Kristen Stewart, Uma Thurman...can't stand any of them. And plenty other's, but those are what come to mind right now.

Writer's Block: Help, I need somebody!

Do you think you would you risk your life to save a stranger? Would it make a difference if it were an elderly person or a child? What about a neighbor's dog or cat?

I like to think I would risk my life to save a stranger, no matter who they were, but it's something that's hard to know for sure without experiencing it. But I personally don't think just because I don't know the person their life is any less valuable than mine, and I'd do what I could to help them. A dog or cat, however, is not worth my life.

Writer's Block: Living the dream

What is your ultimate dream job? Do you think you'll ever live the dream?

Filmmaking. Directing, really. But I also really like screen-writing and hell, maybe I'd even make myself a minor role in the film, eh? As for whether or not I think I'll ever get to live that picture....hard to say. Everyone wants to honestly think they'll achieve their dreams, right? And I have every reason to think I can and will. I also have plenty of doubts and fret over what I have to do to achieve that, all the time, but nonetheless...I think, gods willing, I could make it.

Writer's Block: Happy happy joy joy

What cheers you up the most when life gets you down?

As foolish as it may sound, just laying back and watching a movie changes my mood better than anything. It's such a zen place for me, and I can focus on other peoples problems for a couple hours instead. Although the always sure-fire way to cheer myself up is by watching Friends. I just can't be down for too long with Matthew Perry bouncing around on screen.

Writer's Block: Take a (second) chance on me

Have you ever given a friend or partner a second chance? What were the consequences? Any regrets?

One friend, I "broke up" with, but we eventually drifted back together out of necessity, and it works. We're not as close as we used to be, but it's better. But there's another friend who I've given more chances than she deserves, and nothing changes. Our relationship would have ended months ago, but she won't let it go. I've practically spelt out for her how crazy she drives me, and how I can't handle her attitude and life in general, but she refuses to understand or let go. I hardly see her, but she swears we're still great buds and just....won't let go.

Writer's Block: Please don't call it a comeback

Which famous or infamous historical person would you bring back to life, and why?

The more I think about this question, the more names I think of... J.R.R. Tolkien would have to be #1. But I'm also very tempted by the thought of Martin Luther King Jr., John F. Kennedy, Ghandi... Then, being a film-fanatic, I also have to say Heath Ledger. The cinematic business has so much more it could learn and gain from his talent.

Writer's Block: Out, Out Damn Spot!

Have you ever been passionate about something to the point of an obsession? If so, how did it impact the rest of your life? Did you ever (or would you want to) break free?

Multiple times. Often silly, teenage-girl-things: a musician, or (more often) an actor, then playing guitar, or maybe a certain book, etc. Most of those things still circulate as obsessions. But for the past few years I've been really passionate about films and filmmaking, and it increases in intensity every month, I swear. That's something I don't think I ever want to break out of, as I'd like to have it as a profession. I've also become, in the past year, very passionate about wanting to travel and live somewhere else, preferrably in Europe. I like to think these "passions" are growing up just as I do.
